About this document

Twenty-two named clients, engineers, specifiers, researchers, public authorities and industry partners are quoted in twenty-three records, each giving the speaker, their position and organisation at the time, the place, the date, the project or question addressed, and the document the statement rests on.

Each entry carries one of four provenance lines: a signed original on the writer's own letterhead, original correspondence with headers intact, a statement printed by a named independent publication, or a record issued by a public authority. Quotations are reproduced exactly, with omissions marked. Where a speaker states a performance figure and an independent study lies behind it, the study's own measured result is printed alongside, as with the New Mexico State University putting-green trial.

Part one holds nine signed statements, among them two letters from the University of Nevada's Director of Athletics, after one season and after two winters, the Sonoma Golf Club's account of its 72 bunkers after five and a half years, and a 2026 account of twenty years of service at Washburne Stadium, Southern Methodist University. Part two holds press and university testimony published between 2000 and 2010, from Reno, Sonoma, Las Cruces, Minneapolis, Los Angeles and Spokane.

Part three is the institutional record: the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency's letter on how EPIC is treated under the NPDES Construction Stormwater Permit, Firestone Specialty Products' branded EPIC line with its 20-year warranty, the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu's pilot undertaking, Al Ain Municipality's nineteen weekly inspections of the Al Salamat Park trial in 2012, and the 2011 H2O Water Awards project award. A schedule of the documents held closes the record.
