Evidence & Track Record · Case study compendium
Thirteen EPIC project case studies in one volume: greenhouses, open fields, island plots, parks, a school, two stadiums and a roof, in the United States, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
The compendium binds the thirteen EPIC project case studies, CS-01 to CS-13, into a single volume, each on its own sheet of four pages, or five where the record runs to it, with an evidence level printed on every cover and repeated in the contents.
Each sheet follows the same order: headline figures and evidence level on the first page; the site, the problem and what was built on the second; the measured record on the third; and further findings with dated photographs at the end. Six evidence levels are used (measured, measured partial, certified, monitored, designed and built, and documented) so a reader can see what each project can support before opening it.
Seven studies are in the Gulf. At Al Dahra in Al Ain, the half of Greenhouse 5 converted to EPIC used 85% less water and 46% less fertiliser than the drip half, with 102% more cucumber per plant. The set also covers the open-field demonstration at Al Dahra, Al Sammaleah Island, the Yas Island landscape plots and seawater plot, the Royal Commission's Al Fanateer Corniche plot at Jubail, and Al Salamat Park in Al Ain.
Six are in the United States: Westside Park in Los Angeles, Cambria Elementary School on the California coast, Wildwood Commons in Minnesota, the Bookmen Stacks Park Plaza green roof and TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, and Washburne Stadium at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, photographed in play in 2026, twenty years after installation.
